Cruising the Web

Matt Labash has located "the precise moment when civilization’s wheels finally, irretrievably came off." He attended BronyCon to talk with the adult males who devote their lives to being fans of My Little Pony.

Mary Landrieu doubles down on her support for Obamacare. I hope that is a comfort for her when she's voted out of her job next year.

My alma mater is making news - and not for a good reason.

Some consumers are just finding out that Obamacare means that they're losing their health care coverage. I bet they don't want to hear Obama's voice promising them that the reforms meant that no one would lose their coverage or their doctors.

And here is yet another story of small businesses cutting back on employment due to Obamacare.

The contrast between how Lincoln addressed the constitutional protections against suspending the writ of habeas corpus and how Obama has suspended the employer mandate under Obamacare are very telling about the differences between the two men in their respect for the Constitution.

Both public and private unions are waking up to the damage that Obamacare will do to their so-called "gold-plated" health care plans.

After five years, it's just about the end to the $68 billion California bullet-train project. Tell that to liberal politicians who thought this was such a wonderful idea for the government to fund.

Setting off airport security is, for some, the last opportunity some teenagers might have to escape a forced marriage. Except now the publicity might alert their parents so as to avoid setting off the alarms.

Now NBC isn't sure that they're going to ever put their Clinton miniseries on the air. Oh, darn. Such a loss for American entertainment.
