Cruising the Web

Much of the increased oil production that Obama wants to take credit for today is due to that eeeevil Cheney Energy task force. Heh.

Barack Obama could take some lessons
from how LBJ achieved his legislative successes. But that would involve Obama doing more than demagoguing the Republicans so he's not interested.

Jeffrey Toobin suggests
that Obama tell the public what he'd like to do in a second term. Come on, he can't spill the beans. He needs to preserve his "flexibility."

Guy Benson has a photo that should be used throughout Senate campaigns this year. Democrats would rather perform in charade than actually govern.

What a surprise! Lawyers are finding a way to game the Americans with Disabilities Act to score a big payday at the expense of small businesses.

Why should people who get rich by the pure luck of buying a lottery ticket get taxed at a lower rate than people who earn their money through their own efforts?

Unfortunately for Obama, deeds matter more than words.

Oops! There goes another liberal meme. Food deserts in low income neighborhoods don't really exist.

Jack Welch is not impressed with Obama's approach to governing. The result is the Obama Principle:
We now have the Obama Principle. It's like the Peter Principle, in which people rise to the level of their incompetence, except as redefined by this administration you refuse to recognize your incompetence and constantly blame others when things go wrong.
Sounds about right.

If only....ten years ago, Democrats argued against drilling in ANWR by saying that the oil wouldn't be ready for ten years. Just think how it would seem now if they'd acted back then. Ten years is not so terribly long.

Does Obama have anything to address policy other than witch hunts?
