Cruising the Web

So why do people hate Duke? Newsweek offers up a plethora of explanations.

Jacob Sollum explains the difference between previous rulings of the Supreme Court expanding the Commerce Clause to cover the purchase or production of a fungible product such as wheat or medical marijuana and the health care insurance mandate which requires people to buy something instead of regulating their production of some product.

Democratic senators like Blanche Lincoln and Ben Nelson, feeling the heat for their vote on the Senate health care bill are now trying to fool their constituents on where they stand by voting against the reconciliation package. As if people are too stupid to understand that meaningless votes should trump the vote that really mattered.
