Joe Biden's fantasy world

Joe Biden went on Larry King last night and told us that Iraq could be "one of the great achievements of this administration." This administration? In the fantasy world in which Joe Biden, and perhaps Barack Obama, are the stars of a saga of heroic battles for peace, justice and some other stuff like that what has happened in Iraq is a credit to "this administration."

How about the previous administration whose policies in Iraq Biden and Barack Obama had endlessly criticized and voted against. They both opposed the surge that brought about the situation that Biden now wants to take credit for. And Biden's big proposal was his dopey idea to divide Iraq into three separate territories. And if Obama had had his way, we would have pulled our troops out of there before Bush's administration was even over. The only credit that "this administration" deserves is for not messing too much with the much improved situation that Bush fought to bring to Iraq.

As Andrew Malcolm, who highlighted Biden's idiocy, mordantly remarks,
Biden did not elaborate on what all the administration's other "great achievements" were so far.
Heh.

No mention of VP Biden insisting on a partition of the country and withdrawing US forces to the Kurdish enclave?

if the congress flips in the election and the republican act like real conservatives he might get a second term if isn't arrogant enough to take the hint from the American people. he also might have some achievements to be proud of, they will not be his of course but he will get credit like Clinton

Biden and Obama should be be prosecuted under the Stolen Valor act for claiming any role in military victory in Iraq.

Should be glad he's not blaming Bush?

Biden has a problem with facts such as dates, places, names, times, etc.

He gaffed his way through the debate with Palin. Consider his comments about Lebanon as just one example. Of course there were plenty of others throughout the campaign - FDR on TV during the Crash comes to mind.

Perhaps he should write notes on his hand. The first note on the list should be "KEEP THIS HAND OVER YOUR MOUTH". The next note should read, "KEEP OTHER HAND OVER THIS HAND". Maybe the first note should read "BREATHE THROUGH NOSE".
