How time flies. It's going to be the 20th anniversary of the Tawana Brawley story. And her family is still convinced of the truth of her hoax and they want to come back to New York to commemorate this dubious moment. The only problem is that her mom fled the state rather than responding to a warrant to testify in front of the grand jury that determined that no crime happened. She's seeking amnesty from Governor Spitzer and New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo so that she can return for the anniversary. We'll see how much these politicians want to cater to certain groups in their political base if they grant her wish to celebrate this hoax.
