First they waste the first five minutes with video of the photographers taking pictures of the candidates. It's like watching the photographer at a wedding before they actually get down to the ceremony. Then Anderson Cooper tells us that they won't show the really dumb videos. Then we have to listen to a guy singing a song about the candidates. We had to wait twelve minutes before the first question. I don't mind the idea of a youtube debate, but if CNN wanted to combat the accusation that they were demeaning political debate by airing this thing, they didn't hit the ground running.
