An article on Monday about the goals and priorities of Adm. Mike Mullen, the new chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, misidentified a country where American troops have been serving lengthy deployments. It is Iraq, not Iran.I'd like to think that that was just a typo that got by editors, but with the New York Times, one never knows.

Oops, the New York Times figures out where our troops are serving
Bruce Kesler highlights this funny blooper from the New York Times corrections department. On October 22, they ran a story about the priorities of the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen. On October 26, they realized that they had misidentified the country where our troops have been serving since 2003.
