With Chuck Hagel's announced retirement, it would seem a sure thing that the Republicans could keep that seat in such a red state. However, the one kicker would be if former Senator Bob Kerrey chose to run. But
he announced today that he wouldn't be running. So, the Republicans can relax. At least for that one race.
