Osama Bin Laden decided to make a book recommendation in his latest message, taking time to commend Noam Chomsky's book, Hegemony or Survival. Last year Hugo Chavez also recommended the book and it vaulted up the Amazon charts reaching as high as number 7. It's moved some since yesterday, but still is at just number 942 at this moment. Perhaps it will move more as Bin Laden's endorsement receives more publicity, but right now he doesn't seem to have the same oomph in moving books as Venezuela's Chavez.
How does Chomsky feel about his work being recommended by the world's most famous terrorist? And all those who regularly buy Chomsky's works and tout his anti-American writings?
