CNN is reporting that Senator Craig will step down today. I feel sorry for the guy, but I've learned much, much more than I ever wanted to know about men's room bathroom activities. Not the sort of education I'm looking for from our elected representatives.
I know that there is a whole cottage industry that has sprung up making jokes about this situation and far be it from me to add to all the humor at Senator Craig's expense.
However, I just had to giggle to see that the name of the Republican governor of Idaho who will appoint a replacement should the Senator resign is "Butch" Otter. Oh, dear.
