The revised FISA bill
Since the Congress passed a patch to the wiretapping law this weekend, there has been plenty of shouting from both sides about the eventual bill that was passed, most notably an editorial from the New York Times whose title, "The Fear of Fear Itself," makes it clear what they think of Democrats who voted for this bill. Republican Congressman Pete Hoekstra has now written a point-by-point refutation of the Times editorial. He counters what he calls "Misstatements and Exaggerations" with facts. Read both and make up your own mind. We'll see if the Times prints his answer to their editorial.
