Move over Geena Davis. The next female president is going to be Cherry Jones, who has been elected by the producers of 24 to be president in the upcoming season. Given that 24 is a Fox Network show, get ready for all the conspiracy theorists who will howl that this is an attempt to color the electorate's perceptions of a woman as president while Hillary Clinton is running for office in the real world. Such critics are already upset that the show might desensitize audiences to the idea of torture being used to extract information from terrorists.
The rest of us can just enjoy the TV show.
