Don Young - Dodo

What is it about Alaska that they send these old porkers to represent them in Congress like Ted Stevens in the Senate and Don Young in the House. And just listen to Don Young. Ugh.
Rep. Don Young attacked his fellow Republicans on the House floor Wednesday, as he defended education funds allocated to his home-state of Alaska.

"You want my money, my money," Young stridently declared before warning conservatives that, "Those who bite me will be bitten back."
Er, no, Congressman. It's not your money. It's our money.

And it gets worse. He attacked Representative Scott Garrett, a Republican from New Jersey, for trying to end Young's earmarks.
During his brief tirade Wednesday, Young suggested Republicans lost their majority because Garrett, whom he did not specifically name, and others had challenged spending during the GOP's tenure. He also had disparaging things to say about the great state of New Jersey - home to The Sopranos and Bon Jovi.
First, the guy is totally clueless about why the GOP lost control of the House. It certainly wasn't because some Republican congressman criticized Republican spending. Young has it exactly backwards.

And then to top it off, he takes off after The Sopranos and Bon Jovi. What's that all about? Is that the best way to get your way in the House - to make fun of cultural icons from an opponent's state? He is stupid and has no class. Surely, Alaska can do better.
