Downplaying the terrorist threat in London

Hot Air has the video from Keith Olbermann's show in which he interveriews Larry Johnson to totally downplay the two car bombs found in London. Larry Johnson is the so-called security expert who wrote in July, 2001 about how we were overdramatizing the threat from terrorists. And he is saying today that the London bomb plot is a "Crock of Crap!" He told Olbermann that a person standing 20 to 30 feet wouldn't have been hurt if the car bomb had gone off as planned. Apparently, he knows a whole lot more than the British officials actually investigating the car in person. As Allah at Hot Air points out, Olbermann's own employer, NBC seems to think that that car bomb was a whole lot deadlier than Johnson.
Had it done so, that blast then would have ignited six to eight tanks of propane in a mist to make a fuel-air explosion, creating a fireball the size of a small house and propelling 18 to 20 boxes of roofing nails around a large area at bullet speed, counterterrorism officials said.
Olbermann and Johnson think that terrorism is a way overrated threat yped up by the Bush administration.

Just in case you wondered what the loony left thought about a narrowly averted mass murder in London.
