According to Arie, his father "used every spare minute to do what he loved." Speaking of his father's teaching, Librescu said that "the courses in aerodynamics have ended. On the 16th of the month, you started a new career, teaching a new subject - heroism - [which] millions of students are learning."I don't know about millions, but I would bet that the students who were able to escape murder because of the professor's heroism will not only always remember what he did, but will also be aware that they owe it to the professor to do something worthwhile with their lives. Most young people are imbued with that desire as they set out to start their adult lives, but now they have a special debt that can never be repaid. They owe Professor Librescu for their lives and the best way to repay him is to pay it forward.
