Ewww

I'm excited to have Rudy Giuliani in the race and thought he did a very impressive job in his interview with Sean Hannity. It is nice to watch a Republican giving an interview and not having to cross my fingers that he will be able to express his thoughts and beliefs.

However, he needs to keep his wife from giving interviews and being photographed with a lip lock on his wife. Some things we just don't want to see - I don't care what Al and Tipper did at the 2000 convention. I thought that was yucky to see and I certainly had no desire to see other candidates and their spouses smooching in public.

And this interview - maybe she's a very nice woman, but does she have any sense of how this sounds?
"I've always liked strong, macho men, and Rudy - I'm not saying this because he's my husband - is one of the smartest people on the planet," gushed the former Judith Nathan to Harper's Bazaar in editions due out Feb. 20.

"What people don't know is that Rudy's a very, very romantic guy. We love watching 'Sleepless in Seattle.' Can you imagine my big testosterone-factor husband doing that?"
TMI I just have no wish to hear a candidate's wife talking about her husband's testosterone. I hope they can get her to do her gushing in private.
