What do you think were the most inspirational movies ever made. AFI will be doing a show on this in June. There are 300 movies on their list, some of which were good movies, but not what I could inspirational.

I came up with my own list of top 10 inspirational movies. They're not in any particular order, though Great Escape was the first one to pop into my head. Feel free to add your own in the comments section.

Apollo 13
Babe
Breaking Away
Goodbye Mr. Chips
Great Escape
Hoosiers
A Man for All Seasons
Searching for Bobby Fisher
Stand and Deliver
To Sir With Love

I'm a big sucker for the inspiring-teacher-makes-the-difference type of story. I'm surprised that neither Goodbye Mr. Chips nor To Sir with Love made the list.
