Tom Elia has some analysis of the newest polls and the samples that they're using to get these results. The samples show a much bigger partisan split than we saw in the last election. The number of young people in the sample is much larger than in the electorate, as is the number of unemployed sampled. So, right off the bat, three segments of the population that are more likely to dislike Bush are oversampled in these polls. Go figure.
