Of course, Instapundit caters to an audience prone to delight in cutting government spending and Internet polls prove nothing, but it would be delightful if Congress could really grow some spine and try to find somewhere that cuts are politically possible. I am not holding my breath, however.

And those who recommend raising taxes to do so, might want to review how the recent tax cuts have revitalized the economy and increased government revenue before they start looking for places to increase taxes.
