Transterrestrial Musings caught ABC News making a major error in history. They apparently reported that it was the Republicans who filibustered civil rights legislation in the 1960s when anyone who had a decent high school history class knows that it was southern Democrats, including the honorable Senator Byrd who is still praising the crucial importance of the same filibuster that he used to try to fight landmark civil rights legislation.
