I think that people might call the debate a draw, but since Bush beat expectations and Kerry was the same or weaker than last week, that the debate is a slight win for Bush.

Since the storyline will be that Bush was more energetic.

Bush also wins if the media doesn't declare a winner. He seemed more likeable than Kerry. As if that's a hard job.

Chris Matthews notes that there weren't any questions really about WMD, Bremer's remarks, the jobs report, etc. People actually had better questions than the reporters. The questions were so much better than I remember in other townhall debates.
