It is probably just spin, but Donald Lambro reports that Bush's pollsters are starting to see a shift to Bush in some battleground states and that the state results lag behind the national results. The Bush people are holding onto those favorable Gallup results for a lifeline. Gallup does tend to be the more respected poll. It all depends on how these guys define the likely voter and how they break down the samples.
