Isn't it just like the French to leak information that makes us look stupid? And, if the French had not blurted out why they were holding the flight, security officials could have cleared those people who were on the list by mistake. Though I wonder about the likelihood that these people would be flying under their real names. Given the trouble spelling Arabic names (have you noticed all the spelling for Khaddafi?), this must be very difficult for our people to muddle through.
